Philadelphia—New velvet colorways are among the looks being offered by Kevin O’Brien Studio this season.
During the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, Jan. 14-21, the company will present its Prism Collection – a fresh take on the its signature velvet dyeing process. Soft washes of color are layered on for a blended look. The new colorways include Opal, with pastel orchid tones; and Moonstone, with gradations of silvery gray to pale pink.
Another new color for velvet pillows is Latte—a light sienna color that is evocative of café au lait and champagne tones.
Other new pillow options include White and Grey Applique in patterns such as grey ovals on a white background; and burnout designs in timeless as well as playful patterns such as Peacock Feather and Cable Knit.
For the bed, Kevin O’Brien Studio will introduce the Double Tux linen duvet and shams, which are accented with two velvet stripes; the Channel quilt, with classic horizontal stitching; and the Chunky Knit coverlet and shams, which are woven using thick, slubbed cotton that produces an irregular look, but accented with velvet trim. These are available in Grey and Mineral.
Kevin O’Brien Studio’s designs will be on display at AmericasMart in Building 1, space 9-C-6.
